| Insomnia is one of those unusual remakes because it's actually good. Al Pacino plays veteran detective Will Domer he is sent to Nightmute, Alaska with his partner to investigate a savage murder. Things progressively get worse as we find out the sun never sets, voiding Pacino of sleep in addition to slowly losing his mind. Al Pacino never lets me down, and having Robin Williams as the villain drives this one of the best crime dramas I have seen. **** out of 5 |
